At daybreak, there were a hundred enthusiastic Josephites from classes 7 to12 waiting at the gates of SJBHS. They were bursting with energy, fired by the word ‘Triathlon’ and raring to take a shot at the coveted prizes.
The Triathlon is a PTA initiative consisting of a triad of three phases in a single non-stop event: 50m swimming, 1.2 km cycling and 200m running race. The race began at 6.15 a.m. and was completed in two hours, placing on the victory stand the very best of the contestants in the sub-junior, junior and senior categories. It was indeed a competition of grit and determination, strength and stamina and most of all will power and fortitude.
